General Disclaimer
- Our baby spa services, including hydrotherapy and infant massage, are designed to promote relaxation, sensory development and bonding.
- These sessions are not medical treatments and should not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or care.
- Parents/guardians are solely responsible for their baby's health and wellbeing during all spa sessions.
- If your baby has any medical conditions, has recently had vaccinations, or you have any health concerns, please consult your pediatrician before attending.
Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
- Hydrotherapy and infant massage are suitable for babies aged 2 weeks to 16 months. If you are unsure about whether to attend, please consult with a doctor.
- Babies must be in good health on the day of the session.
- Babies who are premature, have heart, respiratory, skin, or musculoskeletal conditions may require written clearance from a healthcare professional before attending.
2. Parent/Guardian Responsibility
- A parent or legal guardian must remain present throughout the session.
- Parents/guardians are required to disclose any medical conditions, medications, or concerns prior to the session.
- The parent/guardian is responsible for handling and supervising their baby at all times.
3. Hydrotherapy Sessions
- Babies will be supported in a temperature controlled pool using specialised flotation devices.
- Time in the water is limited to a maximum of 45 minutes depending on the baby's age and comfort. Session time includes getting your baby ready to enter the water.
- Babies may be removed from the pool immediately if they show signs of distress, fatigue, or discomfort.
4. Infant Massage Sessions
- Techniques are taught and demonstrated for parents to apply under the guidance of our trained staff.
- Oils/lotions used will be provided; however, parents must inform staff of any allergies or sensitivities.
- Participation is voluntary, and adjustments will be made to ensure baby comfort and safety.
5. Health & Safety
- Parents/guardians must ensure their baby has not eaten a large feed within 30 minutes prior to hydrotherapy.
- Babies who have received vaccinations should wait at least 48 hours before attending.
- Babies with fever, cold, flu, skin rashes, open wounds, or other illnesses should not participate.
6. Liability
- Whilst all care has been taken to provide a safe environment, the spa and its staff are not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse reaction that may occur during or after the session.
- Participation is entirely at the parent/guardian's discretion and risk.
7. Bookings & Cancellations
- Sessions must be booked in advance.
- Cancellations require 48 hours notice.
- Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions without refund.
